This book describes a heuristic methods and rules that is computerized into Expert System, which will act like human expert. Ranked Positional Weight (RPW) heuristic approach is applied to balance assembly line. For the validation of Expert System, we have taken the case study of assembly line for manufacturing of washing machine. This expert system has design to produce workstations, cycle time, total number of units, and the overall efficiency.
