David Wayne Coons Jr (or just Dave) has been an aspiring author since the late 1990s, when he was a high school student in Jerome, Idaho. He wrote several short stories during those years and had a minor group of peers who were fans. Since that time, he has been serving diligently in the United States Navy and has never found the time to complete any other writing projects of significance. However, story ideas have consistently haunted him over the years - writhing in his mind with an unyielding anticipation to be brought into the world through the magic of the written word. In January 2015, he finally made time to sit down and write, giving birth to a particularly nasty story in the form of a novelette entitled "By The Hour". The completion of that novelette has set him on the path to freeing the other lyrical specters from his conscience and he is now pursuing his writings with vigor. He has since released a novella entitled Chaplain and is currently hard at work on two other projects, including his first full-length novel, Sixteen Years Ago.
