In sidereal filtering, a new method, involving empirical mode decomposition in the Hilbert-Huang transform, is employed to analyze the phase residuals of time series. An extrapolation technique, which is rooted in grey relational analysis, is utilized to predict the biases for the current positioning task and thus to correct for such systematic biases. When supported by the above-mentioned mode functions and grey modeling, more accurate coordinate parameters can be obtained using classical least-squares adjustment with bias correction. The algorithm takes advantage of previous observations, and is proven effective for instantaneous satellite positioning.
