The general objective of this research work is to analyze the reopening of schools during the COVID 19 pandemic in rural areas, participating in the Peruvian education system, applying it to national plans and sectoral plans that would help the continuous improvement of the students and the teacher. Adapting to the academic system in times of pandemic has demanded a double effort from teachers, students, and administrators. Our country adopted emergency measures that, to tell the truth, were transitory, but very radical, so much so that public institutions did not have the opportunity or time to react. The current crisis due to the pandemic has no historical precedent in Peru, due to its long duration and the uncertainty surrounding its end. Given this situation, we have investigated how the Ministry of Education should take into account as sectoral policies the re-entry of students to classrooms due to the health crisis in Peru, and what needs should be addressed, given the panorama that is envisioned for the future.
