We come from somewhere else to travel through life. God, bliss, and the trauma of birth are all but forgotten. Our passage, however, is not the goal. The journey itself is readily apparent, which is why it may be mistaken for the aim in life. The true purpose is not nearly as obvious, since it is hidden within one's self.
