The data was analysed and results of this study were forwarded to contribution in continuing search for alternative cure for typhoid and candidiasis. The inhibitions were higher at higher concentration of 1mg/ml of up to 15mm in C. albicans and decreased to 8mm as the concentration was decreased to 0.01mg/ml. The extract showed decrease in zone of inhiition with decrease in extract concentration and a significant linear trend, where P value was 0.05. This confirmed that the leaf extract of S. didymobotrya had antimicrobial effects.
