Resistant isolates were further tested to know if the basis of resistance was plasmid mediated or chromosomal borne. Strains with Plasmid borne resistance were then cured with a mutagen known as Sodium dodecyl sulphide. Antibiogram was then repeated so as to be able to establish the patttern of response toplasmid curing.
