In the Bible, it says angels watched God creating everything and shouted with joy (Job 38). These beautiful, intelligent, glorious, mighty angels had important responsibilities in Old and New Testament history.Angels work for God, but angels also work for mankind. These secrets agents have many jobs. In this book, you will read about warrior angels, messenger angels, guardians, ministering spirits, and worshipping celestial beings. Even with all the work angels do, an angel's most important job is worshipping God. That is why good angels never want humans to bow down or worship them; the angels understand that only God should be worshipped.While we do not usually see the supernatural, it is real. Studying the scriptures helps believers understand more about angels and see them in the proper light. My goal is to get children, teens, young people, and adults to understand that they can ask God to send angels. Here on earth, whenever we need it, we can ask for (Psalm 91) angelic protection over ourselves, our homes, and our family.

Autor

Carolyn Cecil grew up in small town America, which instilled in her a strong sense of right and wrong. She was influenced by living on a small family-owned Virginia farm that cultivated an appreciation for life, food production, and hard work. Carolyn's dad was in the armed forces and was stationed in many faraway places, which helped her develop a love of geography, cultures, and people. She grew up in the church and developed a strong love of the Lord and the Word of God. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science from Madison College (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Va., and a Doctor of Ministry from Kingsbury Bible College. Carolyn married, raised two daughters and taught professionally for nearly four decades. Now in retirement, she writes and teaches on many Christian subjects, including her favorites, the Work of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit Baptism. Carolyn has written a complete Christian curriculum called Equipped: Equipping and Empowerment for Christians and Lay Ministers. She has also written a variety of other children's books including Holy Spirit at Work, Angels at Work, Smells to Treasure, Simple Holiday Pleasures, Our Good Earth, and Life on Earth... What a Journey!
