He holds black belts in both Japanese and Korean karate, having studied extensively in the martial arts in Japan, Thailand, Panama, Spain and the USA that includes, in addition to karate-do, the arts of Aikido, Iaido, Jo-Do, Ken-Do, and Kyusho Jitsu.
