The following book seeks to provide information about the selective collection and environmental management of used tires, their composition, characteristics, current uses and, in addition, to present different alternatives that minimize the negative impacts caused by their inadequate management and final disposal. However, at the end of their useful life, used tires become a special waste that is difficult to dispose of and can generate serious problems not only for the environment, but also for public health. For this reason, the objective of this book is to present some of the ways and alternative uses that help minimize the impacts caused to the environment by the generation of used tires.
