All in all, this is a very useful book, and one that I feel students and laboratory supervisors will appreciate. It fills a great gap at the introductory level, without too much instrumental detail, introducing the main concepts, and offering a well tought-out approach to illustrate them. More importantly, it is priced for the student market, and would serve well as a recommended book for many analytical courses. - Chemistry in Britain
