Death is not the end of it Nepomuk wakes up in a strange place. Millions upon millions of people around him are drawn towards a river, but Nepomuk is not like the others. After figuring out that he is in fact dead, he refuses to move on without his wife. Not knowing how long he would have to wait and how to find her, he rebuilds their bakery from memory as a beacon. This wonky little bakery shop attracts a congregation of deceased who revel in the seemingly endless possibilities that this desert plain offers and an entire city springs up at the shores of the river Styx.
