Apollo, on the other hand, is sure he is meant to guide River to the end, too, just like every other soul since he appeared in this world. But River is unlike any soul that has ever come before Apollo. One believes they are meant to be together on this journey. The other assumes this journey is just a means to an inevitable end. In a world where all things are meant to end, does that include River and Apollo?
