Cassava peel meal (CPM) has been reported to be good source of energy and minerals. However, if untreated, is fibrous and contains high concentration of cyanide which is hazardous to man and animals. MaxigrainR enzyme has been reported to hydrolyse glycosidic bond thereby releasing energy, amino acids and minerals from fibrous diets.
