Alicia is overwhelmed with joy and excitement, because she and her mom will travel throughout the enchanted island visiting different towns from Old San Juan to Mayaguez. While visiting Ponce, they got a chance to see the beautiful Parque De Bombas, which is a historical red and black firehouse that resembles a wax museum. They adored seeing the antique fire trucks, electric lights, and the octagon shaped windows. In Western Puerto Rico, Alicia and Miss Runfio experienced the sights and sounds of Cabo Rojo, which is a coastal, rocky, beach stretching almost 20 miles. Perhaps, the most adventurous trip that Alicia and her mom took was visiting the town of Camuy, where they traveled hundreds of feet below the steep, dark, and scary caves covered with stalactite rocks.
