"Alexander Finbow is a Canmore based author and filmmaker, creator of the award winning Loxleys series of original graphic novels, co-writer of The Loxleys and Confederation with Mark Zuehlke and Niigaanwewidam James Sinclair, author of When Big Bears Invade with illustrator Nyco Rudolph, author of the forthcoming historical-fantasy OGN Blood Light with AL Davison, and action comic series 24 Hours in London with William Simpson. Originally from England, Alexander emigrated to Canada in 2009. and now lives in the Rocky Mountains with his family and Springer Spaniel, Bella. Shea Proulx has a BFA from Emily Carr University and an MFA from the University of British Columbia. Through tracing and repetition, Shea constructs autobiographical visual narratives that transcend the boundaries of individual lived experience. Her books ABC Monstrosity and Alice at Naptime were both nominated for the Best Illustrated category by the Alberta Book Publisher's Association, and Alberta Comics: Home, which she co-edited and did the cover art for, won the award in 2023. Her two daughters and husband, artist Ryan Proulx, routinely make her laugh so hard she spits. Jillian Fleck is a comic creator based in Calgary, Alberta. Their graphic novels Lake Jehovah and Cheryl were released by Conundrum Press, and their work was included in the anthology Alberta Comics: Home by Renegade Arts Entertainment. Other works have been published in formats ranging from zines and webcomics to academic journals. In their spare time they like to watch pro wrestling and make ink.
