Thanks to the cinematographic style, Maher manages to draw in an agile and entertaining way the spirit and edges of a time in which the personal was inevitably political, expressing the concerns that feminist causes were going through at that time in the most stimulating way possible: remembering those who preceded us, evoking their voices in the reading as in a midnight call, determined to wake us up.
