In this memoir, I share my extraordinary experiences living through Northern Ireland's Troubles during the early 1990s, reflections on Vedic philosophy, and insights into the motivations that lead one to a monastic path. After leaving the ashram at 30, with the help of friends I founded Lake Isle Retreats, a sanctuary for yoga, meditation, and inner growth that has been featured in Ireland's major newspapers.
