He has previously held esteemed positions at premier institutions such as the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT). Dr. Shukla earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, each accompanied by multiple gold medals for academic excellence. A renowned researcher in soil and environmental science, micronutrients, and resource-use efficiency, he has been honored with over 25 awards, including the prestigious Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award (2020) and the International Zinc Award (2014). Dr. Bijay Kumar Behera is the Chief Executive of the National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad, under the Ministry of Fisheries, Government of India. Dr. Behera completed his Post-Doctoral research at the Sir Ian Potter NanoBioSensing Facility, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, specializing in cutting-edge nano-biosensing applications. He has authored numerous international publications, holds eight patents, and has edited ten books, reflecting his innovative approach to fisheries and aquatic sciences.
