Green qualitative analysis of organic compounds along with conventional qualitative analysis has been discussed in detail. The subject matter has been divided into three main parts: In first part, general techniques for purification of organic compounds by crystallization and chromatography are discussed. The second part contains a large number of organic syntheses and reactions which develop theoretical and practical skill in the students and also includes green methods of organic syntheses and reactions. In the third part qualitative organic analysis is discussed in detail.
