Sure you have, we all have, and it doesn't matter whether it was with your spouse, children, friends, client, boss or employee. You found yourself at a loss because you didn't know what caused the sudden shift in direction. That is what this book is about. "Adult conversations" will give you the tools to redirect the conversation where it belongs or signal you that it is time to shut it down. My hope is that through my stories, this tool or concept can be passed on and applied in your daily life. Nothing comes easily. Using this communication tool takes time and patience. Simplicity is the key to this book. If you have the right tool and know the correct application of that tool, then the task becomes much easier. Sometimes it is difficult to talk to certain people, even a person you have known all of your life. The key to unlocking that cumbersome situation is simply knowing the tool to use. That's what this book is about. I inserted a number of short stories to illustrate how this tool works. Enjoy.

Autor

Basic Electronic technology was taught in my high school and gave me the background for a lifetime work. After high school, I went into the Air Force and continued my study in electronics.After the Air Force, I worked for major electronic companies for the past forty-four years which include: Honeywell, IBM, Kodak, and Toshiba.Watching my father read, when I was a young boy, implanted in me the curiosity to know what was in books. He instilled in me the love of reading. Thus, my journey began. I started selecting books at random based on what was on their covers. Most of the time, the books had nothing to do with their titles, but once I started reading a book, I wouldn't put it down for fear of missing something important.My formal education comes from reading. I have read books on every subject under the sun.Everything we need to know comes from books. I built a three level deck, forty feet by thirty feet, for my house just by reading the book called "Decks 1-2-3"Whenever I saw a library on a television show, I knew that one day, my house would also have a library.My love for reading has evolved to where I want to share some of the highlights with other people. This is the seed from which this book was birthed.I live in the Virgin Islands. My wife and I have been married for thirty-eight years and we have two beautiful children and one grandchild. I also have two children and three grandchildren and a great-grandchild from a previous marriage.
