It also gives protection to the private sector which will be the vehicle through which the technology and products created may be made available to the public in large scale. It is in this context that this book discusses the Administration of Intellectual Property in National Agricultural Research Institutions in Nigeria with a view to highlighting the importance of IP even for the public Research Institutions.
