Adam Kaufman (Born 1974) is an American actor, who portrayed Charlie Keys in the science fiction miniseries Taken from Steven Spielberg. He made his first TV-appearance in the show Brookfield. Kaufman was born in New Canaan, Connecticut to a Jewish father and a Catholic mother. Kaufman is dating and living with girlfriend, actress Poppy Montgomery, his co-star in the independent film Between as well as Lying to Be Perfect. In June 2007, Montgomery announced her pregnancy with Kaufman. Montgomery was then portraying the FBI agent Samantha Spade on the television show Without a Trace and Kaufman went on to portray Brian Donovan, the father of Spade's son Finn, on the show.
