Rapid and dramatic response to acupuncture treatment

An updated review of the topics of acupuncture and herpes zoster ophthalmicus is given. New treatments for this entity from the western and traditional points of view are presented. Finally, a case report was presented on the follow-up of a patient who achieved spectacular results, relieving pain in the first acupuncture session and total healing in 6 days, with no sequelae.

Ramón Hernández Sarduy licenciou-se em Medicina Geral e Familiar em 1988. Começou a trabalhar como acupunctor desde setembro de 1991 na Clínica da Dor em Placetas. Adquiriu uma grande experiência em práticas de medicina tradicional aborígene. Formou-se como especialista em Saúde Indígena pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo, 2016.
