This fictional spin on reality unfolds with Victor Konig, a billionaire inventor, recruiting a young quadriplegic Navy Veteran, Jacob. To be the first human to receive experimental cybernetic implants that allow him to mentally control modern technology. Jacob, his body rapidly deteriorating as a result of his combat injuries, is cared for by his best friend, Captain Thomas Daniels, and his nurse, Nora Westin. Groomed from childhood and recruited by Victor, they become the emotional leash that controls Jacob. Victor uses Jacob to create the world's first digital alien life form, Achilles.
