The other, however, took the side of the King, even though the King had fallen out of favour with the rulers. He saw through the plots of that day, realising his own blots and lot as someone without a slot in the King's domain. He made an important, immediate and individual decision thereafter. Amazingly, the King showed the scoundrel what He is always willing to offer to everyone and that had even led him to surrendering his own life. To this scoundrel, then, He extended limitless compassion, precious pardon and divine grace that was beyond the rulers' comprehension. He assured him of entry into His Kingdom!
