A Turbulent Winter is a gripping and beautifully told story, but more than that, it is also a sympathetic portrayal of gypsy life and the riches of gypsy culture. Born in Coventry, Lyn Grant has lived most of her life in Brighton and from childhood enjoyed writing and art as a hobby. She has been a volunteer worker for charities for many years, including the Martlets Hospice. This is her first published novel, and she hopes the sales of it will benefit the hospice.
