But these figures are mostly hospital / clinical based reports as primary data needs the support of ethical concern. Moreover, in western countries, during the last few decades, research on the medical aspects of infertility as well as research on the psychological aspects, including counseling has been under taken by the medical team and counselors together. But scenario is lacking in less developed countries like India mainly due to the fact that, till recently and even at present, many of these countries are populated countries and thereby, there is somewhat negligence on the aspect of infertility.
