Out of his comfort zone Major Rodney Brown and his team find a way through a morass of government departments and businesses being defrauded by a KGB scheme instigated by his nemesis General Tysgankov to weaken the economic base of the country. A mandarin in the treasury leads the fraud, supported by KGB thugs he runs roughshod though the economy ripping millions out of the country. As Rodney's team begin to roll the frauds Colonel Pushkin KGB takes up a vendetta against Rodney. The Colonel wants vengeance never more so when Rodney discovers that the fraud model has been exported to the USA and other European neighbours. A crunching climax to the story which is Pushkin's last chance to assassinate Rodney.
