Hence, this study looked at the evidence which examines the use of contraceptives among adolescents in High Schools. The aim of this research is to complete a Rapid Evidence Assessment (REA) that determines the behaviours around contraceptive use in adolescents in order to increase their access and utilisation of contraceptive service among High/ Secondary School adolescents. The studies indicated generally low level of knowledge about contraceptives following the curriculum based Family Life HIV Education (FLHE) programme intervention with only 13% success rate achieved so far.
