The poems of this book are filled with explicit and unsettling imagery, depicting with intensity everyday subjects filled with love, loss, and death. These compositions were written to express my melancholic feelings. I strive to take you as the reader away, if only momentarily, with my fantasies of love and adventure. I strive to take you as the reader away, if only momentarily, with my fantasies of love and adventure. But I also wish to make you understand a greater feeling of despair - as my journeys throughout life have intertwined with these compositions. In my struggles to find contemporary scriptures relating to myself, I composed these for not only I, the writer, but anyone who needs to connect to something a little more. These poems are from my heart. Attached are original writings and artworks that were within my journals. A short poem like a picture can paint a thousand words - all we must do is allow ourselves to become part of it. I personally find myself reading more poetry than novels or stories.
