Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan I am the middle child of five. Moved to Fife Lake, Michigan in December of 1980. I love animals, music, small crafts and gardening indoors and out. Writing is really more of a passion than a hobby. It has always been a way for me to express myself in many different situations throughout my lifetime. It helps me to relate to family, friends and sometimes even strangers. Poetry seems to bring out a passion in people that might not otherwise surface. Much like music it becomes a universal language that all cultures can relate to. Many of these poems were written for other people and moments shared throughout my lifetime. All of them have become very dear to me and each moment has helped make me the person I am today.
