As experienced photographers, we often create images that are technically "correct" and "well" composed but are still missing some intangible aesthetic that we experienced at the moment of creation. Mindful photography infers that while technical proficiency, and an eye for composition are necessary skills, they are not always sufficient to capture the essence of our experience, and therefore emphasizes the importance of training our minds to use all of your senses in order to experience the world differently; to see awe and wonder in what we normally think of as "ordinary. "Mindful photography is an art and rests on the photographer's skill and ability to self-efface and focus on the subject/object, thereby providing an authentic visualisation of the image. This collection of carefully curated photographs has been put together with the view to bring different global landscapes under one luxury book, providing visual art at its best. Packed with inspiration, each image is coupled with a quote from the photographer's circle of friends and family. Each image depicts one moment in time across the many continents which Abhi has travelled to since he was a very young person.
