The writer tends to use odd combinations of vocabulary that still seem to somehow work in a fresh and unusual way. The images are a collaborative effort by the author and a dear artist friend of hers, and like the poems, the images tend to lean towards surrealism and fantasy. In short, you are getting to visit the author's dream world in glimpses, which can be, but are not always pleasant. However, all hold some form of beauty if you look closely enough.
