I was their alpha, and it was time to start acting like one. The only thing that was missing from my side was Death. He had lost the fight with Michael. I had let him down. Now, he was going to win this war for me. I should've been ecstatic, but guilt swamped me. With the touch of Death in play, there's only one thing that could save him: the touch of life. I'd go to the ends of the earth to find the one that can give it to me, but I'm not sure it'll be in time.
