She will need to understand the history, legends, myths and folklore of the faeries in order to become truly faery at the right moment. This book of short stories and fae documents is designed to give the reader an insight into those legends and folklore that Milly has to learn, as part of her preparation. They include the Fae Creation legend and popular songs and poems of the fae community, including extracts from the epic prose poem 'Paradise Mislaid'. Many of these have been subsequently adapted and adopted by humans, though very few realise it. Also included here is the story of Milly's first Christmas - her first staging post on the journey to become the Crossover Child.
