Denis Bell is a maker of both mathematical formulas and small fictions, which he believes, weirdly, that he draws from a common font. Louise Freshman Brown is a painter and mixed medium artist whose works have been featured in exhibitions in museums and galleries in the United States and Europe. In 2005 she received the Outstanding Scholarship Award and in 2007 the Distinguished Professor Award. In 2018 she received the Ann McDonald Baker Art Ventures Award. For the past 40 years, she has conducted workshops and lectures nationally and internationally.
