First and foremost, Janice Johnson Browne is a prayer warrior who not only prays for her family and friends but for others whom she has never met in person. Browne is an international speaker, educator, seminar presenter, consultant, personal growth developer, visionary, and trainer. She is a General Civil Mediator approved by the Supreme Court of Tennessee and a master storyteller. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology is from Oakwood University, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Alabama A& M University, and earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership from Andrews University. She was presented with an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Daniel Payne College for her numerous and outstanding contributions to humanity. Dr. Browne has been a university educator in the field of psychology for more than 20 years. Her passion is growing the mind, soul, and spirit of every individual she meets through consulting, counseling, speaking, training, in her classroom or in a conversation at the grocery store. She is a dynamic, passionate, inspirational speaker and has traveled the world with life changing results as indicated by the numerous messages and e-mails she receives daily. She is a student of all cultures and peoples of the world. Dr. Janice and her husband, Pastor Benjamin were missionaries in Ethiopia for four years. He served as the President of the Ethiopia Union Mission and she worked as Special Assistant to the Deputy Director at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and as a Senior Associate Professor of Psychology at Addis Ababa University. Her life experiences have empowered her to be a richly colorful storyteller who draws the listener in while educating and inspiring them with compassion, hope, and encouragement. Dr. Janice believes everyone has a story to share. She is the co-author of Gifts of Hope: Stories for Women by Women and of a spoken word CD SONshine for the Mind, Soul, Body, and Spirit. She has appeared on television and radio programs including the Hope Channel, Birmingham Public Television, 3ABN Television and 3ABN Radio to name a few. Dr. Browne is a life-coach and sought-after expert for offering her sagacious thoughts on life-quality, personal and professional leadership, relationships, cultural diversity, and organizational and management skills. She has been the speaker, presenter and trainer for thousands of women, parents, mental health organizations, youth conferences, and educational, church, and corporate institutions internationally. She considers herself a citizen of the world, a student of life, and a messenger of hope and encouragement. Dr. Janice conducts prayer sessions for prayer conferences, delivers keynote addresses and seminars for women's organizations, corporations, parent-teacher groups, and professional conferences, and associations. Some of her clients have included Bryce Hospital, the University of Alabama, Loma Linda University, Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, Southwest Union, and South Central Conference.
