These apartments are still standing here as the symbols of Ottoman modern life since then. According to their identity, which is about symbolic axles, in modern urban life and their architecture, the text is focused on Istiklal Street apartment blocks' facades on Pera District. In this sense,the research contains, observing, photography and catalogue of apartments facades in Grande Rue De Pera. In the research literature review and at the same time qualitative searching method are used against to observation. Let's "see and live" the sense of the 19th century apartments on Grande Rue De Pera.
