16S rRNA gene amplification of bacteria isolated from cartap hydrochloride applied agricultural soil

Five different bacterial strains were isolated from Cartap Hydrochloride applied agricultural soil. Plasmid profiling was performed to observe the different sizes of plasmids in those bacterial strains. These information will be proved beneficial for the isolation of pesticide degrading gene from these bacterial strains in future. The fragments of 992bp and 996bp of 16S rRNA gene were amplified for molecular identification which can be used for the molecular phylogeny of these bacterial strains.

Ms.Anum Zahra has obtained BS(Hons)Degree in Zoology in 2010 & stood at 3rd position with CGPA 3.58/4 in the department of Zoology.Then she served as a research officer in University of Gujrat(UOG).Now she is appointed as a Associate Lecturer in UOG,Pakistan.She is Keenly interested in research work related to the field of Molecular Biology.
