Autor

Sara Barcus is an artist raising two sons in their hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Since 2003, they have been an active part of the local arts community; working to expand collaboration and inclusivity, as an illustrator, gallerist, muralist, and arts educator. Sara's work is shaped by San Antonio's unique community and culture in both style and theme, focusing on issues of humanity, compassion, and justice. Sara co-founded HijoleSA, a gallery devoted to showcasing young and up-and-coming local artists.
