Meral Seker si è laureata presso il Dipartimento di Insegnamento della Lingua Inglese dell'Università di Cukurova. Ha conseguito il master e il dottorato presso la stessa università. Attualmente lavora presso l'Università di Cukurova. I suoi interessi di ricerca includono la formazione degli insegnanti, l'insegnamento ai giovani studenti, l'insegnamento situato e l'apprendimento misto.
