Lexical Inferencing is an efficient strategy to deal with unknown words during reading comprehension in an ESL context. Both linguistic and non-linguistic clues are important in the process of Lexical Inferencing. However, apart from non-linguistic clues, the present study examines two linguistic clues namely, morphological and grammatical clues as strategies to enhance Lexical Interencing ability during reading comprehension.
