David Klass is the author of many critically acclaimed young adult novels and has also written more than forty feature screenplays for the Hollywood studios including Kiss the Girls (adapted from the novel by James Patterson). He has also written for Law and Order: Criminal Intent and currently runs the TV Writing concentration at Columbia University's Film School. Out of Time was inspired by conversations with his teenage daughter about climate change.
