Katrin Barth ist ausgebildete Lehrerin mit langjähriger Berufserfahrung und Herausgeberin der erfolgreichen Sportbuchreihe für Kinder "Ich lerne..., ich trainiere". Neben der Zusammenstellung der Inhalte und den altersgerechten Texten erstellt sie auch die Illustrationen. Beate Dreilich (verstorben 2013) war Diplomsportlerin und über 20 Jahre als Bundestrainerin im Sportschießen sowie in der Ausbildung von Trainern im Deutschen Schützenbund tätig.
