From the book reviews:
"The volume edited by Barbara Pusch is a valuable contribution to the area of Transnational Studies ... . it offers transnational migration as an alternative paradigm for scrutinizing the ethnocultural, religious and political identities of German-Turks without falling into the trap of culturalist and nationalist paradigms, notions and methodologies. In this sense, this book provides the reader with new techniques and methodologies for studying the changing nature of international migration, and mobility, in the contemporary world."
