Autorenporträt
Scott Walters is a consultant, and is currently the Webmaster and programmer for Pariyatti Book Service, a publisher, importer, and retailer of texts on Vipassana meditation and the teachings of the Buddha. He has built key infrastructure for two startup companies, and managed all technical labor at iGottaGo, a unique e-commerce vendor. In 2000-2001, Walters served as Chief Software Engineer at Contact Designs, a software development firm. From 1998 to 1999, Walters worked to build a corporate internal intranet at Mayo Clinic, in Scottsdale, which is amazingly still in use today. While at the University of Minnesota in 1995-1998, Walters pursued a course of independent study in artificial intelligence, while working as a developer in a University of Minnesota business incubator company, Java and Web Services, that tracked the cutting edge in technology leading up to the Web explosion. He still asks for his old job back, now and then.
