The Saffron United Pipe Band is a grade two pipe band from Babylon, New York. The band was founded in 1962, and currently fields competition bands in grades two, four, and five. In 2006, the band took second place overall in the grade two Eastern United States Pipe Band Association season. A pipe band is a musical ensemble consisting of pipers and drummers.
