The author does a particularly good job of reviewing the entire literature of thyroid cancer, in particular the literature that pertains to controversies in the treatment of thyroid cancer. Both well-established and new clinical information, such as that on genetic and molecular aspects, is presented in comprehensive and exhaustive chapters written on the basis of personal experience in working for 35 years with patients with thyroid disorders, including thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer.
