Autorenporträt
David Calcano is the founder and creative director of Fantoons, an animation studio based in Los Angeles. David was born in Caracas, Venezuela and has been watching cartoons ever since he was inside his mom's belly. As an adult, he moved to the UK, where he worked as a systems engineer until he dropped his career to pursue his true dream: to build an animation studio, create cartoons and publish books that merge music and creative art. Throughout his career, David has worked hand-in-hand with some of the top companies and musical artists around the world, including The Walt Disney Company, Rush, Alice Cooper, Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys, Mr. Big, Universal Music, Poison, and Steve Martin. Lindsay Lee is an illustrator and co-author of Where Is Alice Cooper? An artist since birth, Lindsay brings her love of music and her unique illustration style to her role as an artist and writer for the award-winning animation studio Fantoons, where she has worked on best-selling titles like Ninja Sex Party: The Graphic Novel, Rush: The Making of a Farewell to Kings, and Neil Peart: The Illustrated Quotes. Lindsay currently lives in Tennessee, and when she's not helping create material for the greatest artists in the cosmos, she's perfecting her own original comic. Terry Brown is a legendary British record producer involved in a variety of work. He has been noted for his involvement with the Canadian rock band Rush. Brown produced every album by the band from Fly by Night (1975) up to Signals (1982).
